Matjaz Drevensek was born 1965 in Maribor, Slovenia. After graduating from the Music Academy in Zagreb (Croatia), where he was a student of Josip Nochta, he continued his studies with a scholarship form the French government at the CNRM de Lyon, winning the "Médaille d'art" in the class of Serge Bichon. He also participated in master classes with Claude Delangle, Patrick Meighan and others. In 1996 he received his Masters degree from the Music Academy in Zagreb.

As a soloist he performed with numerous orchestras (The Slovenian and Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, Zagreb Soloists etc.) and conductors (H. Graf, J. Simonov, M. Letonja, etc.) . He has appeared on concert stages in Austria, Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Macedonia, Turkey and Slovenia, and at many festivals (5ème Biennale de la Création Musicale et Chorégraphique de l'Essone - Orsay, Dubrovnik Summer Festival, X Festival mondiale del sassofono - Pesaro, International Summer Festival in Ljubljana, Zagreb Music Biennale, Musicora Paris, Slovene Music Days etc.). Performing as a soloist, as a member of the Zagreb Saxophone Quartet and various other chamber ensembles, he has given numerous first perfomances of works by Slovenian and other composers. Recordings of his performances can be found in many music archives (Slovenian and Croatian RTV, Radio France) and on compact discs ("Duo", "Croatian music for saxophones", "Z Quartet" ...).

He works as a teacher of saxophone at the Ljubljana Secondary School of Music and Ballet, and also as a senior lecturer at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana. He directs international saxophone seminars in Podsreda (Slovenia) and Hvar (Croatia).

Dejan Presicek was born 1970 in Celje, Slovenia, and studied at the Music Academy and the Conservatory in Frankfurt. Afterwards he was admitted to the master class of Jean-Marie Londeix at the Conservatory in Bordeaux. With the members of Alliage Quartett, Dejan Presicek was awarded a first prize for saxophone and the honorary award for chamber music of the city of Bordeaux.

He has continued his career with extensive participation in numerous orchestras nad ensembles: the European Union Youth Wind Orchestra, the Ensemble Modern, the Orchestra of the Frankfurt Opera, the Orchestra of Gieflen, to name only a few. Television and radio-recording for several European brodcasting stations as e.g. Radio Lisabon, Slovene RTV, BBC, Radio and Television of Hesse give this outstandig saxophonist international status.

Apart form being a teacher at the Ljubljana Secondary School of Music and Ballet, Dejan Presicek founded the Summer Festival of Podsreda (Slovenia) and is still the artistic director of this event.
