| William Powers is a sophomore at Indiana University pursuing a bachelor of music degree under the direction of Dr. Eugene Rousseau. Some of his past awards have included: The Indiana University School of Music Dean's Award 1998-99; Performer at the Region V conference for the North American Saxophone Alliance 1999; Kansas Music Education Association State Festival Band, 1996-98 (principal saxophonist); the University of Kansas Honors Recital in compliance with the Midwestem Music Band Camp 1996; the Topeka Youth Wind Ensemble 1995-1998 (principal saxophonist), and the Topeka Youth Symphony 1996-1998 (principal saxophonist). | ||||
