| Since 1998 Karen Roll Gardener has been performing and teaching in the northwestern United States. She serves on the music faculty of Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington, and she is building saxophone studios in both Spokane and her home community of Pullman, Washington. She has given numerous clinics at area schools, and she has performed at regional festivals.
Gardener received her DMA degree from Michigan State University where she won the 1995-96 Concerto Competition. She has studied extensively with Joseph Lulloff and James Forger. During the summer of 1997, she lived in Paris an worked with Jean-Yves Fourmeau and Lucie Robert. Carol Miyamoto has been staff accompanist at Whitworth College for ten years, and she has serve as the music director and organist of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Spokane for eleven years. She work with numerous theatrical groups and maintains a private piano studio. Julie Anne Wieck has been a membe of the Washington State University (Pullman) faculty since 1996, teaching voice, opera, and musical theate She gives numerous solo performances and directs many musical productions. |
