Rhonda Taylor is currently a master's candidate in saxophone performance at Bowling Green State University, where she studies with Dr. John Sampen and serves as the graduate teaching assistant for ht e saxophone studio. She graduated summa cum laude with a B.M. in saxophone performance at the University of Arizona while studying with Dr. Michael Hester and Dr. Kelland Thomas.
Ms. Taylor has had the good fortune to work with a variety of composers, including Bernard Rands, Robert Lemay, David Maslanka, Robert Morris, and Michael Colgrass. As an advocate of new music, she has premiered over 15 solo and chamber works for saxophone since 1996. |
