French classical saxophone player. First prize of the CSNM of Paris which he received at the age of 17. He is the founder of the saxophone quartet under his own name, The Jean-Yves Fourmeau Quartet.
He has taught at the CNR Cergy-Pontoise and was guest professor at Indiana University. To date he has recorded 11 CD's.
